Hat Standards change for 2016

A guideline for the 2016 accepted hat standards is attached. BS/EN1384 will no longer be accepted at any BRC event from 1 January 2016. At qualifiers hats will need to be tagged with new Orange hat tags. For any XC events, no ‘peaked’ hats are allowed. These hat standards are mandatory for any events, training, activities run under the BRC insurance

At a local level please be aware that the wearing of an out of date hat standard could have affect your insurance or the insurance of the organising body if involved in an accident. Something to be mindful of when hacking or attending local shows.
