9:30 Clear Round: Clear Round to 65cm which will run in height order.
Clear Round After class 4 set at 70cm £5 around

Class 1 - Elves and Pixies – Max height (40cm) Single Phase , All cross poles a class for genuine beginners Restrictions:
- Combination Not allowed to enter classes 5 and above Usual SJ rules apply however anything goes including lead rein and outside assistance.
- Lead reins placed separately (if sufficient entries)

Class 2 & 2a – Santa’s Stocking – Approx. height (50cm) · Single Phase.
Combination not allowed to enter Class 5 and above Class will be split if sufficient entries.
Class 3 & 3a – Christmas Express. Approx. height 60cm· Single Phase.
Combination not allowed to enter Class 6 and above. First Prize £25 Class will be split if sufficient entries.
Class 4 – Jumping Jack Frost -Just a bit of fun for all ages, individuals or with a non-riding partner.

Format: Jump over a reduced course of x poles.
Dismount at designated point or hand over to your partner who will run to the Sack to jump to the finish line to get your time. Fastest wins!

Class 7 & 7a Holly and Ivy – Approx. height 80cm · Single Phase: First Prize £25 Class will be split if sufficient entries (Subject to a minimum of 10 entries)
Class 8 & 8a– Brandy Pudding Stakes – Approx. height 90cm, Single Phase:
First Prize £30 Class will be split if sufficient entries (Subject to a minimum of 10 entries)
Class 9 & 9a – Christmas Cracker – Approx. height 100cm · Single Phase.

Rosettes up to 6th place Dependant on Entries and unless otherwise stated classes will be split and Monies may be withheld if insufficient entries or substituted for prizes in kind.

Rules and Information:
- HARD HATS to current standard MUST be worn by anyone mounted on a horse/pony.
- Hair must be secured above the collar.
- Please clean up droppings from the car park (there are bins around the parking area).
- Do not leave horses tied outside of trailer/lorries.
- All Droppings & Hay must be cleared there are bins around the Parking Area
- Please do not litter but take your rubbish home.
- Horse/Ponies only allowed to enter 3 Classes plus Clear round & Class 4
- ALL horses/ponies must be 4 years or older to jump.
- Whips (Show Jumping and Cross-Country) One whip is permitted and must be between 45cm and 75cm and must not be weighted or feature a hard point at the end. The end of the whip must be padded. The ‘pad’ must be smooth with no protrusion or raised surface (which includes embroidery) and be made of a shock absorbing material throughout its circumference. No substitute for a whip may be carried. Please read the full whip rules as to use, they are available on the NLRC website.

- THE JUDGES/COMMITTEE DECISIONS ARE FINAL
The Committee will not be held responsible for damage caused to any persons/property while on the show ground. We do have an official photographer at our competitions. If you do not wish to have your photos published then please inform the riding club secretary at the competition, many thanks NLRC.
