If you are booking for a team place please in comments put if you are happy to go as an individual if not enough for teams you will then be expected to pay the difference.
Names can be given Caroline West but booking once details are available must come through this booking page. All Monies must be paid before the Prelim Entries are sent otherwise you will be excluded. If you put your name down unless a replacement can be found there will be no refunds and Payment will be expected.

Horses may compete at 2 consecutive heights only and may not compete in 2 teams in the same class.
Eligibility for all classes can be found in the current BRC Handbook.
Eligibility will be taken from the close of pre-entry.
All competitors must be registered members on the BRC membership platform (Sport:80) the last working day before the competition date.
Anyone failing to meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified and informed by BRC HQ when the results are processed.

RULES:
This competition will run under BRC 2025 Rules, anyone in attendance will be bound by the BRC Code of Conduct. It is important that all competitors are aware of the rules relating to this competition. Please check BRC 2025 updates for any changes to published BRC Handbook Rules.
All BRC code of conduct rules must be observed at the event unless the venue / organiser has given specific instructions that are still in line with health and safety guidelines. This includes: the welfare of the horses and ponies; the conduct of members, officials, volunteers and representatives; safeguarding and equality and diversity as well as social media and discipline.

PPE:
All hats must have a visible current BRC/BE/PC PINK hat tag in place before they are worn on the showground, to show that they meet the current safety standards. There will be a trained official available on the day to do this for you if your hat does not currently have one. For up-to-date hat rules please see the current BRC Handbook.
Body Protectors:
A body protector is not compulsory for Show Jumping competitions, although it is advised one should be worn.
Flu Vaccinations:
Your horse must have up to date influenza vaccinations in line with rule G7 in the current BRC Handbook. There is also a checking device on the BRC website. If you are unsure, please email BRC at
Horses and ponies cannot be vaccinated within the 6 days before competition day, that is not after Saturday 26th April 2025 for this qualifier.
Please remember it is the owner’s / competitor’s responsibility to make sure the horse’s / pony’s vaccination certificate is correct. If a certificate is found to be incorrect the horse / pony will be issued either a yellow or red card. A red card will not be permitted to compete at the Qualifier.
Health and Safety:
Further information on BRC’s health and safety guidelines can be found in Section 3.7 page 119 of the 2025 BRC handbook.
The organisers oversee ensuring the appropriate health and safety precautions are being observed. Competitors, visitors, and officials are responsible for ensuring they all individually follow any and all guidelines put forth by the organiser / venue to ensure the health and safety of everyone present.
BRC Code of Conduct:
The BRC Code of Conduct includes the welfare of the horse/pony; conduct of members, officials, volunteers, and representatives; safeguarding; equality and diversity; good conduct and discipline; and the BRC social media policy. Examples of the code of conduct can be found in Section 1, pages 3 through to 12 of the BRC Handbook.
Members should ensure that they are up to date with the BRC code of conduct to encourage a smooth competition; anyone found to be in breech of the BRC code of conduct is subject to discipline from the BRC disciplinary committee at their discretion.

Numbers to qualify as per Appendix 10 in the current 2025 BRC Handbook.
Health and Safety regulations and notices must be adhered to at all times.
Any item of jewellery or alternative medical treatment wristbands must be covered up by clothing or gloves, if they cannot be removed, at the riders own risk.
Hair must be neatly secured and should not hang lower than the shoulder line (when standing normally).
Only competitors may work in a horse/pony before a class/phase.
Junior classes are for competitors aged under 18 when joining or renewing their membership.
Individuals under the age of 12 are not permitted in warm-up arenas on foot under any circumstances. Juniors between 12 and 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. Juniors 16 years old and above need to have a parent/guardian on site.

No one under the age of 14 is permitted to fulfil any volunteer role.
No horses to be left tied to outside of horseboxes / trailers - Rule G9.3 refers
Cars to be parked in allocated area only.
Please pick all litter, muck and hay from around your horsebox in the parking area and take home.
A4 size Competition numbers are to be provided by Competitors / Clubs, along with number bibs.
DOGS ARE PERMITTED BUT MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS. DOGS MUST NOT BE TIED TO A VEHICLE AND LEFT UNATTENDED.
